Privacy

Revised 25 October 2026

Data controller

The data controller is the publisher of this site, a non-professional private individual whose identity has been given to the host named in the legal notice (Article 6-III-2 of the law on confidence in the digital economy).

Data collection

The pages of this site are static. There's no form, no account to create and no advertising tracker. Only overall visits are counted, without cookies (see “Audience measurement” below). When you simply read the site, the publisher collects no data that could identify a visitor.

Audience measurement

To find out how many pages are read, which ones, and from which sites people arrive here, the publisher uses its own visit counter, hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (Workers service and D1 database). When a page is displayed, a short script hands the site itself just two pieces of information, which it passes on to this counter: the address of the page viewed (without its parameters) and the name of the site you came from, if there is one. A page that's reloaded, or reopened with the “back” button, sends nothing.

The counter sets no cookie, writes nothing to your browser's storage and assigns no identifier: it can't recognize a visitor from one page or one visit to the next. It records neither your IP address nor your browser's characteristics: only aggregated counts — a number of views per site, per day, per page and per referring site. Known bots are counted separately, under the name of their family only, never with visitors. These counts are kept for 25 months at most, then deleted.

The same script also counts clicks to the shop this site links to. When you click such a link, it sends the site, which relays them to the same counter, the address of the page where the link was, the type of link (text, box or button) and the name of the site you arrived from on that page, if any — nothing else. Only a number of clicks per day, per page and per link form is kept, plus a total of clicks per day and per origin (search engine, assistant, social network, direct access), with no cookie or identifier, for 25 months at most.

These statistics are used solely to measure this site's audience, on the publisher's behalf alone. They aren't cross-referenced with other processing, used for advertising or passed on to anyone. They don't let anyone follow you on other sites. On those terms, audience measurement doesn't require your consent (Article 82 of the Informatique et Libertés law and the CNIL's recommendations on audience measurement); it rests on the publisher's legitimate interest in knowing how many people visit the site.

You can object at any time, and reading the site works the same, by turning off JavaScript or by blocking, in your content blocker, the address /x1wztbdo/ufv7fe on this site, where the script sends its signal.

Connection logs

The host, Cloudflare, Inc., may keep connection logs (IP address, timestamp, page requested, user agent) to ensure security and keep the service running. This processing depends on the host and its privacy policy, which are beyond the publisher's reach.

Article 6-II of the law on confidence in the digital economy requires certain connection data to be kept for a limited period, for the purpose of investigating and recording offenses.

Trackers

This site sets no cookie, including for audience measurement. If an advertising tool or another tracker were ever added, this section would be updated and a consent mechanism put in place before any tracker that isn't strictly necessary is set.

Outbound commercial links

A few articles lead to online stores. None of these links contains a tracking identifier, and the product images shown here are served by this site itself. Elsewhere, the privacy policy of the site you visit applies.

Exercising your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port the data concerning you. Since this site collects no data that identifies you, it holds in principle nothing about you. Any request can be sent to the host named in the legal notice, who will pass it on to the publisher.

If you feel your rights aren't being respected, you can file a complaint with the CNIL: <https://www.cnil.fr/fr/plaintes>.

Data outside the European Union

Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts the site, may process data outside the European Union. These transfers are covered by the mechanisms provided for by the GDPR, notably the standard contractual clauses.

The audience-measurement counts are stored in a database located in the European Union. The brief processing of each signal by Cloudflare, Inc. may take place outside the Union, on the server closest to the visitor; Cloudflare adheres to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, supplemented by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
