Le Tableau du Dimanche Playing in clubs and tournaments: rules, licenses, rankings

About

Revised 24 October 2026

What this site is

Le Tableau du Dimanche is a documentary archive devoted to club pickleball and amateur tournaments. Its aim: to lay out the French federal framework clearly, meaning licenses, rankings and rules of the game, drawing on official sources and the press.

Who it's for

Amateur players, curious beginners, and club managers who want to know how to sign up, get equipped and take part in a tournament in the country.

Three working habits

  • explain how things work before recommending anything;
  • point out the limits of what's put forward;
  • link to official sources whenever they exist.

Articles are built from a body of facts about club and amateur tournament pickleball. Each of those facts is filed with its public source, then checked before it goes online; the references used are listed at the bottom of each article.

A glossary goes with it all. Every technical term has its own entry: definition, mechanism, example. Each entry is itself backed by a public source that made the check possible. Articles point to it rather than redefining every concept.

Every page shows its date of last modification. The full process, from choosing topics to making corrections, is described on the Sources and verification page.

What the site doesn't do

  • no personalized advice: the content is general;
  • no disguised sponsored content;
  • no fake reviews, no invented testimonials.

Disclaimers

  • The federal framework for pickleball in France has been changing since the 2026 delegation: check licenses, fees and rules on the FFT website before you sign up.
